Mr Thapiporn Suporn is a Lecturer in International Affairs at Khon Kaen University International College (KKUIC), Khon Kaen University, Thailand. Prior to joining KKUIC, he taught in the School of International Affairs at Chiang Mai University. He is an alumnus of the Study of the United States Institute for Scholars (SUSI) on US Foreign Policy, the programme funded by the US Department of State.
At VRI, Mr Suporn is an Overseas Fellow in the Strategic Analysis Centre. He obtained a BA (First Class Hons) in Political Science and an MA in International Relations from Kasetsart and Chulalongkorn Universities, respectively. His research interests include Asia-Pacific security, great power politics, International Relations theories, and military alliance.
