The Vejchewin Research Institute offers funding through its Small Grants Programme and Publication Grants. The purpose of the VRI Small Grants Programme is to provide early and mid-career academic professionals with funds to develop research projects and support scholarly undertakings. The amount of each Small Grant is up to US$ 800. Publication Grants aim to facilitate publication of scholarly work in Scopus- and Web of Science-indexed journals. The amount of a Publication Grant is up to US$ 400. It is expected that 3 to 5 grants will be made each year. The grants are administered by the Research Administration and Promotion Cell within the VRI Research Wing. All research proposals shall be mandatorily reviewed by the Research Ethics Panel of the Institute.
